World Cement,
Eurocement group company Nevyanskiy Cement has successfully passed an audit confirming its certification in accordance with Standard ISO 9001-2011, which refers to quality management.
The auditors reviewed the operation of the plant units and carried out a thorough check of all processes within the quality management system. The inspection panel noted the effectiveness of the plant in implementing further monitoring suggestions made after the audit last year.
The cement plant is currently in the process of constructing a new gas-fired power plant, supplied by Wärtsilä, which is a pilot project that may be rolled out across the Eurocement plants. The plant is having a successful year, having reported an increase in shipments in September 2015 and in the first nine months of the year.
