Wangford Quarry has a new owl family!
Following three or four years in which the nest boxes on site at Wangford Quarry have been empty of Barn Owls, this year they have a new family of residents. At least three owlets have been spotted on site and the Team are keeping a close eye on them to make sure that they reach adulthood safely.
Part of Cemex’s aggregates business, Wangford Quarry is located in Suffolk, UK.
