Cement decarbonisation pioneer Fortera has joined the Alliance for Low Carbon Cement and Concrete (ALCCC), alongside international NGO ECOS and ten other inaugural alliance members to make low-carbon cement the norm.
A new ground-breaking study by the multi-stakeholder Alliance modelled different mitigation scenarios, in which the clinker-to-cement ratio in Europe incrementally decreases to 60%, 50%, or 40% by 2050.
The financial year 2022 closes with a value of production of around EUR 80 ml, in line with the previous year, but characterized by a clearly growing volume of new orders reaching EUR 145 ml.
