Molins recognised at the 7th National Aggregates Congress

Molins has been honoured with the National FdA Sustainable Development Awards and the Mining and Life Foundation Awards for its initiatives in circular economy, environmental management, and social commitment.

The 7th National Aggregates Congress, held in Córdoba, brought together leading companies from the sector to analyse the challenges of sustainability and innovation in the extractive industry. During the event, the 2025 National FdA Sustainable Development Awards and the Mining and Life Foundation Awards were presented, where Molins stood out as one of the most recognised companies, receiving several distinctions for its projects in circular economy, environmental management, and social responsibility.

Recognition at the National FdA Sustainable Development Awards

Molins received First Prize in the Circular Economy in Construction category of the National FdA Sustainable Development Awards for the project “Circular Economy in the Construction of the New Spotify Camp Nou.”

This pioneering initiative promotes the reuse and recovery of materials in one of the country’s most iconic construction projects and has also been selected to represent Spain at the UEPG European Awards, which highlight the best sustainable practices in the sector at the continental level.

In addition, the project “CUÍDAME: Detection of Invasive Species in Garraf” received a Certificate of Recognition in the Environmental Best Practices category, for its contribution to preserving biodiversity in the natural areas where the company operates.

Mining and Life Foundation Awards 

At the Mining and Life Foundation Awards, Molins received First Prize in the Circular Economy – Large Companies category for the project “Molins Elevates Circularity and Sustainability at the New Spotify Camp Nou,” reinforcing its leadership in integrating sustainable solutions throughout the construction value chain.

Furthermore, the project “An Environmental Classroom in a Mining Operation” earned a Special Mention in the Image and Communication – Large Companies category, in recognition of its educational and outreach efforts to bring responsible mining closer to society.

These awards highlight Molins’ commitment to a responsible development model aligned with the principles of the circular economy, biodiversity protection, and reduction of environmental impact.
