Buzzi Unicem hit by cyber attack

Buzzi Unicem has been hit by the cyber attack that originated in the Ukraine on 28 June, before spreading across Europe. The attack made the Group’s information inaccessible.

The company is taking all necessary measures to restore normal operating activity, but it is currently not possible to estimate the time needed for a complete recovery. The lack of operating systems in currently causing many difficulties in managing and administrating the company’s processes, and could cause delays in interim accounting closings and related financial disclosures to the market.
