Akhangarancement reports positive June production levels

Eurocement’s Akhangarancement has produced more than 77 million t of cement since it started up in 1961. In June 2015, the company produced 157 880 t of cement and 117 950 t of clinker, an increase of 6.3% and 6.5% above June 2014 levels.

Some 163 305 t of cement was shipped in June, a 5.4% increase y/y.  Of this, 79.1% was type PC 400 D20 SPC and 400 cements, an increase on the 54.9% share in June 2014.

Production of reinforced concrete was up 21.4%, while refractory products (produced for the company’s own use) increased 20.1% y/y.
