Restructuring of Scheuch managing board
At age 79, Alois Scheuch, the founder of Scheuch GmbH, has decided to pass the responsibility of the Corporate Group to his son, Stefan Scheuch. Stefan will lead Scheuch Holding, which is responsible for the future strategic development in the field of environmental technology in the Group as a whole.
In an additional element of reorganization, Jörg Jeliniewski is taking over from Herbert Kendler as Managing Director of the company, coming from a background with GEA Group AG, where he worked for more than 20 years. Kendler is leaving Scheuch after 15 years with the company.
"We are convinced that, together with Jörg Jeliniewski, Scheuch GmbH will successfully expand to become a global player for clean air systems", said Stefan Scheuch.
The Scheuch Group is an international player in the five divisions – Wood Processing, Wood Based Panels, Metals, Industrial Minerals and Energy, and employs more than 800 people. The company invests €3 million in research and development each year. In FY2012/13, the technology leader for industrial exhaust air treatment achieved a turnover of €130 million.
