World Cement,
A used Gebr. Pfeiffer MPS 125 A mill will be at the heart of a capacity expansion project at German lime company, Hermann Trollius GmbH. Gebr. Pfeiffer service experts will assist the customer with the setting up of the new grinding plant, including any necessary maintenance work on the MPS mill.
Gebr. Pfeiffer will also supply two SUT 2800 type table separators, as well as 3.15 m long x 2000 mm dia. TRT Triplex dryer. The dryer with new HMG 900 hot gas generator will be used to dry dolomite, which has a moisture content of 4% - 11%. A HMG 800 hot gas generator will be used on the mill.
The new equipment will be onsite at Lauterhofen in Bavaria by early November 2018 with the plant expected to go online in early 2019, at the latest.
The project extends of cooperation between Gebr. Pfeiffer and Hermann Trollius, which has relied on Gebr. Pfeiffer products since the 1960s. Indeed, much of the equipment installed in the 1960s and 1970s is still operating today to the customer’s satisfaction.
