World Cement,
Eurocement is supporting more than 40 scholarships for students from higher and secondary specialised educational institutions as part of its ambitious ‘Generation E’ programme. The cement giant actively works with educational institutions that produce specialised professionals and support of the scholarship programme is designed to strengthen this cooperation, as well as attract young talent to the company.
On 1 November 2014, Eurocement conducted the selection of candidates for the scholarship programme together with representatives from the holding institutions. All students who have been working at an ‘excellent’ or ‘good’ level for two consecutive years, are actively involved in research activities, and who have successfully passed special testing, were given a chance to be awarded the Eurocement scholarship. In addition to receiving the scholarship, students will be able to participate in all projects of the global ‘Generation E’ programme.
In 2014, scholarships of the Eurocement Group will be paid for by the following subsidiaries: JSC Belgorod Cement, JSC Nevyansky Cementnik, JSC Maltsovsky Portland Cement, JSC Lipetskcement, JSC Mikhailovcement, and the Voronezh branch of JSC Eurocement Group. From 2015, scholarships will be paid for by all of the company’s plants.
