World Cement,
As part of a strategic corporate initiative to increase product availability across central Europe, Terex Construction has announced the appointment of Austrian-based Kuhn Group. Kuhn Group joined the Terex international distributor network in April and provides backhoe loader sales, service and product support.
With subsidiaries in Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary, alongside headquarters in Austria, Kuhn Group will distribute a number of models from across the Terex backhoe loader portfolio, providing owners with a reliable, compact equipment solution.
Paul Macpherson, Sales and Marketing Director at Terex Construction’s Coventry facility, commented: “With more than 25 years’ experience in the retail of both heavy and compact construction equipment, Kuhn Group has a highly regarded reputation with customers worldwide. We’re confident that the team’s experience, contacts and enviable subsidiary locations will deliver significant international growth.”
Stefan Kuhn, Director at Kuhn Group, added: “With up to 40% of total central European construction machinery sales coming from backhoe loaders, offering a recognised and reputable product range is essential. Our customers demand heavy-duty, hard-wearing, rugged and reliable machinery – precisely what Terex delivers. The compact portfolio is a perfect fit for Kuhn Group and will help us to drive additional business growth – across Austria, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary – in the future.”
