Akhangarancement reports increased production in April 2015

Eurocement’s Akhangarancement reported production of 119 047 t f clinker in April 2014, equivalent to 119.4% of April 2014 production. Total cement production for the month amounted to 150 000 t and 123 t of refractory bricks, both up from the April 2014 production.

Akhangarancement shipped 150 428 t of cement in April 2015, 9028 t (6.4%) above target. Cement and PC 400 D20 SPC 400 were the most popular products, accounting for 82.6% of the total products shipped.

The company produced 167 080 t of limestone (up 44 428 t y/y) in April and 386 679 t of overburden (up 259 223 t y/y). Moreover, the company almost doubled its concrete production for the month, at 5043 m3.
