Aucotec AG joins Siemens PLM Software Solution Partner Program
German engineering software provider Aucotec AG has joined Siemens PLM Solution Partner Program as a software and technology partner. This will allow for enhanced PLM integration of Aucotec’s Engineering Base (EB) system and enable greater integration with the Teamcenter® portfolio.
As part of the agreement, all information will be securely managed throughout the complete lifecycle of the engineered plant, machine or mobile equipment. As a result, released engineering documents can be managed and distributed with access control and revision management, ensuring fast availability of up-to-date project data information from EB. Purchasing and manufacturing lists can also be created and updated to guarantee proper data in associated departments at any time. Catalogue material information will be automatically synchronised with product master data to avoid unnecessary errors and multiple data input. In addition, workflows can be specified individually.
“Siemens PLM Software is enthusiastic about the collaboration with Aucotec. Teamcenter values a healthy partner ecosystem, and this agreement is the first step in the development of an integrated solution that will provide added value to our mutual customers,” said Eric Sterling, Senior Vice President, Lifecycle Collaboration Software, Siemens PLM Software.
Aucotec Executive Officer, Markus Bochynek, added: “This partnership with Siemens PLM Software enables us to offer our customers one of the best and open CAE software solutions available in the market today. Our customers want technology that has an open data model that will support them in the future. We are excited to work with Siemens to provide industry-leading PLM technology to our customers.”
