LafargeHolcim announces continued growth momentum

LafargeHolcim has announced its financial results for 3Q19 and the first nine months. For the first nine months, the company’s net sales are up 4% and recurring EBITDA is up 9%, where the company’s 3Q19 results show net sales up 4.9% and recurring EBITDA up 6.4%. The company has confirmed its 2019 targets and noted its appointment of a Chief Sustainability Officer.
“3Q19 is the fifth consecutive quarter of over-proportional growth in profitability and we are on track to achieve all targets for 2019,” said Jan Jenisch, CEO of LafargeHolcim. “I would like to congratulate all employees for executing Strategy 2022 with high speed and impressive results.
“Our financial discipline is generating value and we are making significant progress in cash conversion and in deleveraging our balance sheet. We expect the positive dynamics to continue into the fourth quarter and we are confident that we will deliver a strong full year performance and achieve a new level of balance sheet strength.
“We have further strengthened efforts with the appointment of the first Chief Sustainability Officer to the Executive Committee. We are accelerating our vision of running our operations with zero harm to people and contributing to a built environment that will be carbon-neutral, fully recyclable, and have a positive environmental impact.”
