Oskolcement employees take part in community cleanup day
Employees at Russia’s Oskolcement, part of the Eurocement group, took part in a community cleanup programme on Saturday. The annual initiative aims to improve sanitary conditions in Starooskolsky Urban Okrug, with local businesses, residents and volunteers all taking part.
On the same day, the Oskolcement staff also applied their cleanup skills to the plant, clearing debris and fallen leaves from the site.
The plant has produced over 100 million t of cement since it was established in 1969, which has been used in a range of construction and infrastructure projects around Russia.Adapted from press release by Louise Fordham
