Loesche vertical roller mill to be used at new cement plant

Biberci Insaat specialises in infrastructure works, including road construction, interchange, water conduction lines, sewerage, natural gas and other energy transfer lines. Now, the company is also planning to produce its own cement in Konya, Turkey. One of its first investments for the new greenfield cement plant is the order of Loesche’s LM 56.3+3 vertical roller mill for grinding clinker. The mill will produce 200 tph of OPC at 3800 blaine. The gearbox is planned with a capacity of 5400 kW.
20 years of experience with the 3+3 technology for cement mills
Loesche’s 2+2/3+3 system was developed for a better grinding bed stability and patented in 1994. More than 310 mills of this type have already been sold across the world for the production of a wide spectrum of cement types. Using this technology, it is possible to produce OPC with a fineness of up to 6000 Blaine.
Loesche’s 20 years of experience using this grinding technology, along with the added advantage of a low specific energy consumption, has convinced Biberci Insaat, to decide in favour of purchasing the vertical roller mill from Loesche.
Delivery of the vertical roller mill is scheduled for 3Q15.
