Aalborg Portland appoints new Managing Director of Unicon A/S

Søren Holm Christensen, Finance Director in the Nordic and Baltic region of Cementir Holding, has been appointed the new Managing Director for its subsidiary, Unicon A/S in Denmark, as of 1 September 2015.

Søren Holm Christensen takes over the reins of Unicon from Jesper Knudsen, who will take on a position as CEO of EL:CON, after 9 years of employment, including six as Regional Director.

Aalborg Portland is part of the Cementir Group, an international supplier of cement and concrete. Aalborg Portland’s four main products are white cement, grey cement, ready-mixed concrete and aggregates, with its products being supplied globally. It is a market leader in Europe, South East Asia and Australia and is also a major US supplier of white cement.
