Mordovcement
Mordovcement is the latest plant to have received a visit from Eurocement President Mikhail Skorokhod, who joined other senior staff members to tour the plant and discuss key issues for the plant this year. Particular attention was paid to health and safety and product quality.
The plant is currently undergoing a modernisation project. The project is in its final stage and completion is scheduled for 15 April.
Oskolcement
Another Eurocement plant, Oskolcement, has launched a new brand of cement: CEM II / A-SH 42.5 N. This brings its product range to six types of cement.
Portland cement CEM II / A-SH 42.5 N is a slag cement ideal for use in precast concrete elements and for small-sized products. The concrete produced with this type of cement has a high initial and final strength. It has a high resistance to frost, which makes it suited to freeze-thaw conditions.Adapted from press release by Katherine Guenioui
