HeidelbergCement launches video of the Quarry Life Award

The deadline to register for the second edition of HeidelbergCement’s Quarry Life Award is fast approaching. Project proposals will be accepted up to 1 March 2014 under the following categories:

  1. Raising Public Awareness.
  2. Promoting Biodiversity.
  3. Innovation and Biodiversity.
  4. Biodiversity and Education.
  5. Pupil and Student Projects.

Indonesia, Canada, Turkey and the US are now also taking part in the competition, bringing the number of countries involved to 22. In addition to awards on a national basis, the best overall project of the International Quarry Life Award will win €30 000.

The video below highlights the experience of some of the contestants and jury members who took part in the first edition of the Quarry Life Award.
