World Cement,
Sengileevskaya cement plant has realised its plans to expand the products it ships via water transport. On 19 September, Sengileyevsk sent out its first barges with cement.
During the day, the barge was loaded with 1600 t of bagged cement. Despite the fact that this was the first loading of bagged cement, the coordinated work of the company's employees allowed the barge to be filled with high-quality product on time.
Delivery via water transport of bagged cement is designed to simplify the process for customers receiving and storing the basic building material.
The increase in volume of cement shipped by water transport reduces the load on delivery vehicles. Sengileyevsk has plants in regions that do not have alternatives to road transport.
