Part of the Eurocement group holding, Oskolcement’s line for packing products in 50 kg bags and shrink film has been resumed.
Oskolcement products are popular with consumers and, responding to their requests, the company has resumed the packaging line. The first pallet left the conveyor belt on 20 April 2019.
The demand of the building materials market for calibrated cement is growing both in Russia and in export destinations. Paletted products are a guarantee of quality from the manufacturer because such packaging significantly reduces the risks of acquiring cement of inappropriate quality or counterfeit.
Equipment from leading European manufacturers, such as Haver & Boecker and Beumer, is used on the Oskol packaging line. As part of preparing the line for work to share best practices, employees of the packaging department of the Voronezh branch of the Eurocement group were seconded to the Oskolcement site.
