Eurocement’s Sengileevskaya plant to begin production in 2 months

The president of Russia’s Eurocement group, Mikhail Skorokhod, recently met with the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Sergey Morozov, at the site of the company’s new cement plant in Sengileyevsk. The new plant is scheduled to begin production at the end of May, bringing the total production capacity of the Ulyanovsk region close to 4 million t.
Mr Skorokhod said that the new Sengileevskaya plant will be one of the most modern plants that meet the highest standards in terms of equipment quality and performance.
Mr Morozov pointed out that Eurocement is one of the biggest taxpayers in the region. He added that the arrival of Eurocement in the Sengileyevsk area will improve the quality of life for people in the region, and that the regional government will do its best to promote this.
On completion, the plant will provide 320 high-tech jobs.
