World Cement,
Etex Group awarded Gebr Pfeiffer the contract for the modernisation of its Sinat GmbH works in Hartershofen.
The installed Pfeiffer MPS 125 A vertical roller mill, which has been in operation at the works since 1990, will be replaced with a vertical mill of the type MPS 160 B. This new mill will be set up in an annex next to the old grinding plant. To be noted that a major part of the existing equipment will be reused. This procedure will ensure that the current production can be maintained as long as possible during the phase of implementation.
The scope of services comprises delivery of the mill, proportioning equipment, hot gas generator, process ducting, electrics, buildings and foundations including installation and connection works as well as integration into the existing process.
Switch-over and commissioning of the grinding plant are planned for December 2016.
