The General Contractor Bilim Makina has commissioned Beumer to supply and mount thirteen bucket elevators for the transport of cement, clinker and raw meal at Sycs Insaar Cimento Madencilik’s cement plant in Elazig, eastern Turkey, along with six apron conveyors and thirteen silo discharge systems for clinker transport. The Greenfield plant in expected to achieve a capacity of 5000 tpd.
The scope of supply includes two high-capacity belt bucket elevators with a distance of 133 m. They will be used to feed the preheater tower with raw meal. Owing to the size of the plant, a conveying capacity of 500 tph is achieved.
The supply of the equipment has been completed, with a team of Beumer staff now mounting the plant. Andre Tissen, Director Business Unit Cement at Beumer Group says: "Working with us, the user is also provided with global service and a competent contact person."
