Baticim Cement joins the WCA

The World Cement Association (WCA) has announced that Turkish cement company Baticim Cement has joined the organisation as a corporate member.

Baticim Cement is part of the Bati Anadolu Group. The group’s products and services range includes cement, ready mix concrete, electrical power generation, and logistics. Baticim Cement has a capacity of 5.8 million tpy.

“With Baticim Cement, we welcome an important player in the Turkish cement industry to our membership,” said Norman Greig, General Secretary of the WCA. “We look forward to working with them and other members to promote the cement industry across the globe and tackle future challenges together.”

“The world cement industry is going through a new phase with new global challenges," said Feyyaz Ünal, Executive Committee Member of the Bati Anadolu Group. "As a prominent Turkish cement producer sharing the WCA’s vision of tackling issues together, we are very pleased to join the WCA as a founding corporate member.”
