Loesche accepts orders of two VRMs and one cement mill from Turkey

World Cement,

Askale Cimento Sanayii T.A.S. (ACS) of Turkey is currently in the process of erecting a new 4000 tpd Clinker production line in Gümüshane, for which it has placed several large orders with Loesche. The new plant project, roughly 100 km south of Trabzon, is being coordinated by SINTEK Mining Machinery Industry Construction of Ankara.

ACS had already chosen 2 Loesche Vertical Roller Mills for grinding both raw materials and Coal, when, on the 18 September 2012, the two companies signed an additional contract for the supply of a Loesche Type LM 56.3+3 Mill. This mill can grind cement at production rates of up to 230 tph and Blaine finesses of up to 4600 cm2/g. The mill will produce at least 4 different cement types, from standard OPC cement to various types of composite cements.

ACS cited good product qualities, high availability and very low energy consumption as fundamental requirements of its grinding plant, and these were key factors in the decision to order the Loesche mill.
