Hope Cement to be rebranded

World Cement,
Following the expansion of Breedon Group’s cementitious activities, the company has decided to bring the Hope Cement division under the umbrella of the Group brand.
With the acquisition of the Sherburn importation business, the cementitious activity of the Group is no longer exclusively focused on the Hope Cement plant. As such, Hope Cement will be renamed Breedon Cement from 1 August 2017. This will give Breedon Group greater flexibility as it continues to develop the business in the future.
1H16 saw Breedon Group complete the integration of the former Hope operations, with all three divisions on a common IT platform, as well as the integration of Sherburn’s cementitious import terminals. The Group now expects to deliver the full £10 million of planned synergies in 2018, ahead of schedule.
