Buzzi sells its operations in Ukraine and Slovakia

Buzzi Spa has announced that it has reached an agreement for the salve of some of its Eastern European operations to CRH, a leading building materials company, for a total of €100 million.

The sale covers the company's operations in Ukraine and a ready-mix concrete plant in Eastern Slovakia.

In Ukraine, Buzzi has two full-cycle cement plants, located near Rivne (north-west) and Nikolajev (south).The production units are flanked by two terminals for the distribution of cement. The group is also active in the ready-mix concrete sector in Kiev, Odessa, and Nikolajev.

Buzzi shares closed down 0.4% at €22.48 per share on Tuesday.
