Buzzi Unicem places Eurobond

Buzzi Unicem SpA has successfully completed the placement of the Eurobond authorised on 13 April 2016, for a nominal amount of €500 million with a 7-year maturity.

The Notes are places with institutional investors only in a minimum donation of €100 000 and pay a fixed annual coupon of 2.125%. The issue price is equal to 99.397% of par value. The Notes are due in a single instalment on 28 April 2023 and are governed by English law.

The notes were oversubscribed more than six times across 330 accounts. Standard & Poor’s confirmed rating of BB+ for the Notes, in line with the one already assigned to the Company. Buzzi Unicem will apply for the listing and admission to trading of the Notes on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

Through this issue the Company has achieved its goal of promptly reviewing some short-term borrowings, further diversifying its funding sources and extending the average debt maturity profile.

Banca IMI, BNP Paribas and Citi acted as Joint Lead Manager and Joint Bookrunner of the transaction.
