Part of the Eurocement Group, Maltsovsky Portland Cement’s planned autumn-winter repair campaign of the main process equipment is in the active stage.
In total, it is thought that more than RUB400 million will be allocated for the implementation of the work programme. These investments will allow the enterprise to prepare for a high construction season, providing consumers with an uninterrupted supply of consistently high-quality cement.
Maltsovsky Portland Cement is planning to increase its output, operating four rotary kilns. Three of these are undergoing scheduled overhaul and modernisation. A significant amount of work is being carried out in the cement grinding workshop, with overhaul and maintenance repairs to be carried out on five cement and raw material mills.
The company has also stated that much attention is also being paid to improving the production culture and compliance with occupational health and environmental standards. In particular as part of the repair campaign, a new electrostatic precipitator has been installed on a rotary kiln.
