RobecoSAM is an investment specialist focused on sustainability investing that also publishes the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI). Every year since 2004, RobecoSAM’s ‘The Sustainability Yearbook’ has listed the world’s most sustainable companies in each industry, as determined by their score in the annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSI). Over 2100 of the world’s largest companies in 59 industries are invited to participate each year.

This is the seventh time that Sandvik has been included in The Sustainability Yearbook, one of only nine Swedish companies to make the list.

Eligibility for inclusion is determined by the sustainability scores derives from the CSA, along with a qualitative screen based on RobescoSAM’s Media & Stakeholder Analysis, which evaluates a company’s response to critical sustainability issues that may arise during the measured year.

Christina Båge-Friborg, Head of Sustainable Business comments: "The inclusion in RobecoSAM's The Sustainability Yearbook for the seventh year in a row illustrates our continued success in integrating sustainability both in our offerings in close cooperation with our customers as well as in our operations throughout our value chain."
