World Cement,
Over the festive period, CeramTec supported two local children’s and youth clubs, with Kreisjugendring Esslingen e.V. and Menschenskinder Plochingen e.V. both receiving financial support from the company. A group from Menschenskinder decorated the company Christmas tree, while twelve young people got a chance to experience the work environment at the headquarters in Plochingen as part of ‘Mitmachen Ehrensache’ – a campaign in which young adults spend a day at participating companies and donate the money to a charitable cause.
This is the third time CeramTec has been involved, with twelve young people from Plochingen and the surrounding area working for the day. From their wages (€5/hour) a total of €1000 was donated to the Kreisjugendring Esslingen e.V. youth club.
As a thank you gift to the six children decorating the Christmas tree, CeramTec donated €200 to Menschenskinder e.V. youth club for crafting materials, trips and events.
