New Belarusian cement company in the pipeline
According to BelTA, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has approved the formation of a new cement holding company – Belarusian Cement Corporation. It has been reported that the company will include a transport and logistics firm as well as three cement plants: Belarusian Cement Plant, Krasnoselskstroinmaterialy and Krichevtsementnoshifer. The company would be established by 2014. The formation of the new cement holding company aims to lower construction material costs, develop new products and increase market reach.
