One of the leading Turkish construction companies in the machinery sector, Temsa Construction Machinery, has announced that they will partner with Japanese Marubeni Corporation.
In his statement, Sabanci Holding Industry Group President Mehmet Pekarun said: “The construction machinery business within Temsa Global Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S had been separated from Temsa Global Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. and its partnership was restructured as of March last year in line with the growth opportunities considered by the Group in construction machinery field. After this first step aimed at focusing on the sector, Temsa Construction Machinery implemented significant practices in terms of business line management. It gained a significant amount of market share, and prepared its growth plans for the future. Right now, on its journey to grow even bigger, the company is working with Marubeni, a Japanese giant with many international distributorships in the construction machinery sector.
Sabanci Group shareholders will keep a majority 51% of the company shares. This partnership is a significant step for the company to grow in the construction machinery sector. The process will be concluded after the required permits are acquired.”
