World Cement,
The RKW Group will invest over €1 million in the Unseburg Site between February and July 2016, to be prepared for further profitable growth. The site is being extended and is adding 10 interesting new jobs. Through this investment, the RKW Group is reinforcing its commitment to the Saxony-Anhalt region. The investment includes an additional 20 silos for raw material storage, as well as a blown film line that will allow the site to manufacture high-quality plastic geo-barriers for construction, environmental and civil engineering applications for the first time.
“RKW’s Sites in Saxony-Anhalt provide about 90 people with work and as a training company, also perspectives for young people. Safe jobs, further and in-house training and ecological responsibility are important to us as a medium-sized, family-owned company” said Harald Biederbick, the Chairman of the RKW Group. “With our expansion and investments in Unseburg, we are clearly signaling our commitment to the business location Sachsen-Anhalt”.
