H-IONA is the first low-carbon cement to be granted CE marking. This fourth technology meets all the mechanical, physical, chemical and durability requirements of the NF EN 15743 standard of June 2015.
The Hynovi project aims to capture 40% of the carbon emitted by Vicat’s Montalieu-Vercieu cement plant in eastern France. Carbon produced by the plant will be recovered and combined with Hynamics’ low-carbon hydrogen to produce carbon-free methanol.
A climate-friendly road surface cement CEM II / A-LL 42.5 N with a lower proportion of clinker from HeidelbergCement was successfully used for the first time during the project.
