Nevyanskiy Cementnik sees rise in June cement production

Eurocement Group company Nevyanskiy Cementnik produced 106 552 t of cement in June 2015, up 6485 t from June 2014. Clinker production was also higher at 81 557 t and rose 6.4% over the first half of the year to 424 902 t. Cement production in 1H15 was 484 597 t, while 493 148 t of cement was sold during the same period.
Shipments were up 18% y/y in June at 119 117 t of cement. More than half of these were CEM II/A-SH 32.5N type cement, which at 61 083 t of cement was up 3% y/y.
The company has noted a steady increase in the shipment of bagged cement, which was up 65% y/y in June. Eurocement introduced a new range of packaging products in April. The new 50 kg bags benefit from greater product protection, are more environmentally friendly and are convenient to carry and store. The new line of 1000 kg big bags also offer high strength and moisture resistance.
