QualiCal, SYSWARE and MindTek have announced a new strategic alliance to develop and provide Industrial Internet of Things services to help industrial companies to achieve increased productivity from capital assets and processes linked in the cloud.

QualiCal and SYSWARE will develop and deliver industry-specific services based on QualiCal’s MOSAICO cloud-based operating systems. The services will aid companies in reducing operating expenses and increasing revenue through improved machine uptime and streamlines industrial workflows.

SYSWARE will provide its extensive experience of the IoT, data analytics and IT cyber security capabilities,a s well as access to global resources across multiple industries.

Carlo Cella QualiCal CEO, says: "Within the global economy, C-levels (corporate executives) face tough challenges: the unrelenting pressure to do more with less and optimise performance whilst controlling costs, as well as the need to innovate. They must get more from their fixed assets, improve capital ROI and optimise the productivity and value of their increasingly mobile and demanding workforce. The Internet of Things helps address these issues, but as a complex and fast-moving market, partnerships must be formed to ensure a holistic, end-to-end approach. This alliance, combining QualiCal Digital's Industrial IoT technologies with SYSWARE's IoT experience confirms the vital role of collaboration and strategic relationships. Bringing data analytics and cloud capabilities to co-create services to help companies use their data to realise significant gains in workflows and productivity will go a long way to address key business challenges."

Roberto Abati, MINDTEK MOSIACO Project manager, says: "At MINDTEK, we are forming strategic alliances, like the one today with QualiCal Digital, to better serve our clients and new markets. With QualiCal Digital, we'll help industrial companies not only improve productivity of their existing assets, but also help them to fundamentally reshape their enterprises."

In the QualiCal Lime Industry core-business, producers can use the IIoT to develop maintenance schedules that improve lime kiln uptime, reduce the number of times workers must travel to maintain kiln and identify the tools and parts they need to take with them. In other industries, oil and gas, the IIoT can help a Companies optimise the remote off-shore platforms when to schedule shut-down because the equipment’s requires maintenance.

Fabio Finelli, Senior QualiCal IT, says: "We are building an Industrial Internet ecosystem with world-class partners who share our commitment to delivering better outcomes for our customers. Together, we are co-developing solutions on MOSAICO that will combine QualiCal’s industrial domain expertise with SYSWARE's innovative approaches to addressing complex business challenges to uncover creative ways to increase productivity and efficiency for our customers through data and analytics."

"With data and digital technology impacting every industry, businesses are under tremendous pressure to adapt in almost real time.” - Says Davide Beretta, SYSWARE CEO, - “Our expanded relationship with QualiCal and approach to digital operations will enable us to bring innovative IIoT services to market to help clients dramatically improve productivity, reduce cost and increase revenues."

“QualiCal has been taking the Big Data journey very seriously, starting earlier than its competitor -- and, probably, earlier than many other process industries. QualiCal understood that getting insights from data to support daily operative decisions and the long-term strategy is the investment with the highest ROI.” concludes Vincenzo Manzoni, QualiCal Digital Alliance BIG DATA Advisor.
