German cement deliveries crept up in October 2017

German domestic cement deliveries rose marginally in October 2017 – the latest month for which data is available. According to the German Cement Association (VDZ), cement deliveries rose 0.1% on the previous year to 2.4 million t.
After strong growth in July and August, deliveries slowed in September (down 0.7%) and October. Over the first ten months of 2017, however, cement deliveries totalled 22.6 million t, a 4.8% increase on the previous year.
