Eurocement to cooperate with Ulyanovsk region

On 13 January, Sergey Morozov, Governor of the Ulyanovsk region, and Mikhail Skorokhod, President of Eurocement Group, met to discuss the past year and explore the prospects for cooperation between the company and the Ulyanovsk region in 2017.
The Ulyanovsk region has two cement plants: Ulyanovskcement, which celebrated its 55 year anniversary in 2016, and the Sengileevskaya plant, built in July 2015.
Mikhail Skorokhod said that the company will continue to invest in the development of plants in the Ulyanovsk region in 2017, including the introduction of new technologies, the development of personnel, and an increase in production volume.
Eurocement’s products have been used in the construction of significant structures in Ulyanovsk and its adjacent areas, including the fegeral highway bridge M-7 and the ‘Aviastar-SP’ aircraft building plant. Cement produced by the company will also be used in the construction of infrastructure for the World Cup 2018.
