The acquisition of Daisho reinforces Fives’ Grinding/Ultra Precision business line and consolidates its status of leading providers of grinding solutions.
Daisho’s expertise in precision grinders enlarges Fives’ scope of grinding technology, enhances its current offer to the industry.
The Grinding/Ultra Precision business line of Fives will now operates with a workforce of around 700 people located in Italy, the UK, the US, Japan and Korea. It will offers a complete range of grinding and ultra-precision solutions for the automotive and other industries, through a strong legacy based on 5 major names on the market: Cranfield Precision, Landis, and Landis-Bryant, Giustina and Daisho.
