Scheuch GmbH celebrates its 50th anniversary

This year, Scheuch GmbH is celebrating 50 years since its founding by Alois Scheuch in 1963. Over the last half a century, the Austrian company has expanded its global reach and developed innovative ventilation and environmental technology for a range of industrial areas.

Today, Scheuch has 730 employees in locations around the world. Scheuch achieved a turnover of €120 million in 2012 and has production sites in Slovakia and Austria, where it is headquartered, as well as offices in Germany, Italy, France, Russia, Canada and the US.

The company is made up of six divisions: Metals Industry; Industrial Minerals; Energy Industry; Basic Equipment Division; Wood Processing Industry; Wood Based Panel Industry. The Industrial Minerals Division serves the cement, lime, gypsum, raw materials and construction materials industries. Scheuch has been operating in the dedusting sector of the cement industry for 40 years, introducing its EMC filter technology in 2001. In 2012, the 200th EMC filter plant was installed in South Africa.

The company’s new Basic Equipment Division provides equipment and components such as fans, cyclones and discharge devices to plant manufacturers and end customers. Its key focus is the European market, particularly Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Molins announce first quarter results
