CIMPOR's Alhandra plant has been awarded the NF Hydraulic Binders Certification by AFNOR, the French organisation responsible for auditing and certifying product quality based on stringent criteria.

This certification applies to two of CIMPOR’s cement products: CEM I 52,5 R and CEM II/A-L 42,5 R, under NF Certificate No. 1049.01. With this certification, CIMPOR can now expand its market presence in France and African countries where the NF mark is recognised.

"Achieving the NF certification reflects CIMPOR’s unwavering commitment to quality and innovation", said Evrim Fidan, Head of Global Quality Excellence and R&D of CIMPOR Global Holdings. "This certification not only strengthens our reputation but also opens new commercial opportunities in strategic markets".

The certification process involves monthly testing conducted by AFNOR to ensure continuous compliance with NF-LIANTS HYDRAULIQUES (Hydraulic Binder) NF002 standards. This underscores CIMPOR’s commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable cement products that meet the most demanding international specifications.
