Cement production up 24% for JSC Ulyanovskcement

World Cement,


JSC Ulyanovskcement, part of the Eurocement Group, has announced an increase in production levels between January and May 2012. Cement production grew 24% y/y to 627 000 t, whilst clinker production rose 15% to 533 000 t y/y. The Ulyanovskcement plant shipped 626 000 t of cement to consumers, 21% more than the same period in 2011. Cement production levels in May 2012 increased 11% from 175 000 t to 194 000 t.
