World Cement,
The European Commission has selected Cemex as finalists for the Natura 2000 award.
Cemex have been selected for the company’s biodiversity project developed with BirdLife international in the Sotopajares quarry in Spain. This marks a great milestone for Cemex as it is not only a recognition of great work in biodiversity but also proof of the compatibility of the company’s activities with the nature conservation efforts included in the Natura 2000 network.
The EU Commission grants ‘Citizen Award’ to the application that receives the most votes from the public.
