World Cement,
Cementir Holding has announced that its subsidiary Cementir Italia SpA has notified it that the Court of Rome has postponed the hearing, which was originally scheduled for 18 January 2016, where Sacci SPA’s composition with creditors will be subject to their vote. The hearing will now take place on 21 March 2016.
Sacci’s composition with creditors includes, as an integral part, a binding offer submitted by Cementir Italia for the acquisition of Sacci’s business division for the production of cement and ready-mixed concrete. If the vote by Sacci’s creditors is favourable to the composition, it will then be subject to the endorsement by the Court of Rome.
