Generational change at Haver & Boecker
As of 1 January 2014, Florian Festge and Dr Fabian Festge assumed management responsibility for Haver & Boecker’s Machinery Division, succeeding their father, Dr Reinhold Festge.
Dr Reinhold Festge has been appointed President of the Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau (Association of German Machinery and Plant Manufacturers – VDMA), although he will still be available to advise his sons at Haver & Boecker, particularly on business development matters.
After two years at Messe München, Dr Fabian Festge joined Haver & Boecker in 2008. He was Managing Director of HAVER IBAU India from 2009 to 2013.
Florian Festge has worked for Haver & Boecker for 13 years. He held a management position at the company’s Canadian subsidiary in Ontario, W.S. Tyler, before serving as Managing Director from 2005 until 2013, when he returned to Oelde, Germany. On 1 January 2014, he became a personally liable managing partner in the OHG general partnership, along with Dr Reinhold Festge and Walter Haver.
