Intensiv-Filter GmbH & Co. KG announces insolvency

World Cement,

Intensiv-Filter & Co. KG submitted an application for insolvency on 31 May 2012. The responsible district court of Wuppertal appointed Dr Marc d’Avoine from Wuppertal as the temporary insolvency trustee.

Dr Marc d’Avoine has evaluated the situation in a first conversation with the executives. The objective is to begin winding up running projects as quickly as possible. The necessary requirements for it are already regulated. To improve the current situation for the recapitalisation, Dr d’Avoine has implemented measures in the meantime for improvements in efficiency and the further development of technology. In addition, the sales department is actively approaching the market, so that Intensiv-Filter, in spite of the insolvency procedure, profits from the order boom in machine and plant manufacturing.

Intensiv-Filter will be present as planned with an exhibition stand at ACHEMA, the world’s biggest trade fair in the chemical process industry, from 18 – 22 June 2012. “We will thereby show our customers and partners that the insolvency is a chance for Intensiv-Filter, which is used for the continuity of the company. Various investors with whom we are under discussion are already at hand,” said insolvency trustee Dr. Marc d’Avoine.
