The company forecasts that the worst of the pandemic’s impact on the UK construction industry is still to come.

The Covid-19 pandemic is expected to contract the Swedish construction industry by 4%, says GlobalData.

It is anticipated that the proposal may result in redundancies of all the employees currently based at the South Ferriby cement plant.

The company has seen orders almost double this week as the UK construction industry gears up to return to work.
