Renk shares drive development at Hannover Fair

Published by , Editor
World Cement,

Hannover Trade Fair is taking place this week (13 – 17 April), so we’ll be sharing news from companies exhibiting at the Fair throughout the week.

One such company is Renk AG, which will be showcasing the COPE gearbox, developed in coordination with Loesche GmbH. The two companies joined forces in 2014 to market the drive concept for Loesche raw meal, clinker and slag mills. At Renk’s stand, visitors will be able to see the COPE gearbox for the new Loesche cement mill LM 70.4+4. Renk will show a 3D animation of the gearbox, which provides comprehensive information about the setup and how maintenance friendly the drive unit is. Furthermore, visitors can look at one of the up to eight drive units of the COPE gearbox in the original as well as study a model of the complete COPE drive for 10 MW mill output; this will demonstrate the compactness of the new power pack. Mr Philipp Stolzenburg, Sales Manager at Loesche GmbH, and Mr Igor Zlobin, Sales Director of Loesche OOO, will be available at the stand to answer technical queries.
