Peterburgsement receives new certificates of conformity

Published by , Assistant Editor
World Cement,

In late September, Peterburgsement received new certificates of conformity EN 197-1:2011, for the two main types of cement produced at the Slantsy plant (CEM I 42.5N and CEM II / A-SH 32.5N).

Getting new certificates of conformity for its main products allows the plant to continue to sell cement seamlessly in both the domestic market and abroad. In August 2015, official representatives from the Prague Certification Centre visited the plant to conduct thorough inspections of the entire process chain of production, and ensure that it met technical regulations. Following the visit, the plant was given certificates to cover the next three years.

Verification procedures continue beyond the initial investigations. The company will continue to hold regular inspections and will also send the necessary samples to the Certification Centre in Prague once every 2 months. This ensures that the quality of the product remains at a high level and is key to the successful sale of cement in the Russian market and abroad.
